Early Open Water Season Togue

We offer an exclusive trip to a Midcoast Maine lake to target togue (lake trout) for two anglers right after ice out when they are moving through the shallows close to shore and are near the surface. Take advantage of the narrow window of opportunity to catch one of Maine's premier coldwater gamefish on fly or spinning tackle in shallow. Trips will be either from shore or on a boat taken out into the bays to make it easier to use fly tackle.

Due to an overly abundant population of togue in the lake used for this booking, we encourage anglers to harvest fish between 18 and 23 inches, and release those larger to ensure that the population returns to its historic larger average sizes.
